This position is based in Kahului, HI; however, our company operates nationally, with a focus on large regional malls.

As the Marketing Manager at Queen Kaahumanu Center, you will be developing, owning, implementing, and managing marketing programs for Queen Kaahumanu Centerbased on strategic goals in three main areas of focus: Leasing, Sales, and Business Development.

To be successful, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, or 3–5 years of relevant retail/shopping center marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software (Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator/Photoshop) with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Solid organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including social media management and professional writing.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.

Your responsibilities as the Marketing Manager at Queen Kaahumanu Center will include:

  • Strategic Marketing & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute data-driven marketing plans that support leasing, drive sales, enhance asset value, and generate alternative revenue.
  • Budget & Performance Management: Oversee marketing budgets, monitor results, and adjust strategies to meet financial and performance objectives.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Manage and mentor marketing staff, providing coaching, feedback, and professional growth opportunities.
  • Advertising, Promotions & Events: Plan and implement advertising campaigns, sales promotions, and community events that increase traffic, sales, and brand visibility.
  • Tenant & Community Relations: Build strong relationships with tenants and community partners to foster collaboration, cross-promotions, and positive public perception.
  • Communications & Public Relations: Serve as center spokesperson, manage media relations, oversee in-mall signage/branding, and direct community outreach to strengthen visibility and reputation.
  • Special Events Management: Plan, execute, and evaluate events and sponsorships that drive traffic, enhance customer experience, and support tenant sales.
  • Digital Marketing & Content Strategy: Lead website, social media, email, and SMS initiatives; monitor analytics; and develop digital programs that increase engagement and awareness for the center and its retailers.
  • Visual Merchandising & Décor: Oversee signage, seasonal décor, and vacant storefront displays to ensure professional presentation, consistent branding, and alignment with budget.
