Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and ARDMS certification for a 13-week travel contract at a community hospital in the Lake Norman, NC area.
Details
- Community hospital setting in the Lake Norman, NC area
- 5x8 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Every third weekend required
- On-call coverage required Monday–Sunday every other week
- GE ultrasound equipment used
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of echocardiography experience required
- Community hospital experience required
- Current ARDMS and BLS certifications required — all certifications must be in hand at time of consideration
- Proficiency with GE equipment required
- NC license or Compact license required if applicable
- 1 supervisory reference within the last year required
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required between October 31 and March 31 — no exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced rate
- Orientations are held bi-weekly
- Navy blue scrubs required
