Responsibilities
What Youll Do:
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of commercial agents to ensure operational excellence and consistent professional growth.
Book Management: Oversee a diverse commercial book of business, ensuring 90%+ retention through proactive renewal reviews and relationship building.
Growth & Quoting: Partner with producers to quote new business from high-quality referrals and marketing leads, conducting deep-dive coverage and risk analyses.
Carrier Relations: Maintain strong partnerships with carrier underwriters to negotiate the best terms and pricing for our clients.
Agency Innovation: Help refine internal processes and workflows to keep us at the cutting edge of the industry.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years in Commercial Lines Account Management with a proven track record of handling mid-to-large market accounts.
Leadership: Previous experience leading or supervising a team in an agency setting is highly preferred.
Licensure: Valid California Property & Casualty License is required.
Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Agency Management Systems .
Mindset: A self-motivated "A-player" who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about client success.
