A K-12 educational institution in Chimayo, NM, is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to support classroom instruction and student development throughout the academic year.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing instructional plans and classroom activities for students across K-12 grade levels.
- Support individual and small group learning to reinforce educational concepts.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators to help tailor instruction.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to address student needs and promote academic growth.
Qualifications:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar role within K-12 settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support students and staff.
- Ability to assist with diverse learning styles and behavioral needs.
- Reliable, patient, and focused on fostering a supportive educational atmosphere.
- Compliance with any state or district paraprofessional certification requirements, if applicable.

- Position is located in Chimayo, New Mexico.
Duration:
- Contract position for the duration of the school year (NSY).
