We are seeking dedicated Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to provide school-based services throughout Washington, DC.

Position Overview
As part of a multidisciplinary educational team, you will help students access their learning environments, improve independence, and achieve meaningful educational goals.
Services may include:
- Fine motor skill development
- Sensory processing support
- Self-regulation strategies
- Visual-motor integration
- Handwriting interventions
- Adaptive skill development
- Functional participation in classroom activities
- Consultation with educators and families
Key ResponsibilitiesOccupational Therapists (OT)
- Conduct evaluations and assessments
- Develop treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services
- Participate in IEP meetings and educational planning
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
- Provide consultation and recommendations regarding student accommodations and supports
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA)
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Deliver direct therapy services
- Document student progress and therapy activities
- Support data collection and goal monitoring
- Collaborate with educational teams and families
- Assist with implementation of accommodations and interventions

QualificationsOccupational Therapist (OT)
Required:
- Master's Degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
- Active Occupational Therapy license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Preferred:
- NBCOT Certification
- School-based experience
- Pediatric therapy experience
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Required:
- Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active COTA license or certification as required by state regulations
- Ability to work under supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Preferred:
- School-based experience
- Pediatric therapy experience
