Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing comprehensive services to students within a K-12 school setting in Elk Grove, CA. The position offers flexible full-time or part-time schedules with a full school year contract and a varied caseload spanning all grade levels. This role allows you to directly impact student communication development while working alongside a supportive team including two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders across a diverse K-12 student population
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to facilitate effective communication goals
- Utilize evidence-based practices to monitor and report student progress
- Supervise and provide guidance to SLPAs supporting your caseload
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children and adolescents
- Ability to manage a caseload with flexibility and professionalism
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
