Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support multiple elementary schools on maternity leave coverage. This contract position serves students in a school setting within Anoka County, MN, starting mid-December 2025 and ending late May 2026. The role provides therapy services primarily to elementary students with varied speech and language needs, including those in Setting III CDC classrooms.

Key Details:

  • Location: Anoka, MN (multiple elementary sites including Brooklyn Center and Blaine)
  • Position Type: Leave Coverage Contract
  • Start Date: December 15, 2025
  • End Date: May 29, 2026
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Service Model: 3 weeks direct therapy, 1 week indirect support
  • Caseload Focus: Therapy only (no evaluations), mixed caseload including typical elementary and Setting III CDC students
  • Available Time Blocks: Coverage varies by site with partial in-person hours required at some schools

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP license or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Open to candidates holding Clinical Fellow (CF) status; not accepting SLPA applicants
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Ability to manage a caseload with diverse student needs
  • Flexibility to support multiple locations and adjust services accordingly

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary students across several schools
  • Provide indirect services as scheduled during designated weeks
  • Collaborate with school teams for continuity of care
  • Maintain compliance with district and state requirements for therapy provision

Benefits of this position include valuable experience in a dynamic school environment and the opportunity to support children across multiple educational settings.

Interested applicants should submit a current resume and license for consideration. Candidates without proper documentation will not be reviewed. This is a great contract opportunity for SLPs seeking temporary assignment within an established school district.

Apply now to contribute your skills in supporting student communication and development during this important maternity leave coverage period.

Compensation for this position ranges from $23.75 to $88.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
