Role & Responsibilities
As Compensation and Benefits Lead Manager, you will support the development and delivery of regional reward and benefits strategies aligned with global frameworks, local market requirements and employment legislation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development and execution of regional reward and benefits strategies
- Providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders on competitive compensation and benefits practices
- Using market data, benchmarking and analytics to inform reward strategies and decision-making
- Taking regional responsibility for the annual reward and benefits cycle
- Managing activity across annual benchmarking, merit reviews, bonus administration, pay equity reviews, cost modelling and budget input
- Supporting governance and administration of compensation programs, including position evaluations, spot awards, allowances and other total compensation elements
- Reviewing and approving off-cycle increases and promotions in line with governance frameworks
- Ensuring benefits strategies align with workforce needs, talent priorities and culture objectives
- Assessing current benefits programs and recommending enhancements based on benchmarking, utilization, employee feedback and cost analysis
- Educating employees and managers on reward programs, policies and processes through clear communication and training
- Participating in global reward projects and representing regional perspectives within the wider Global Reward team
Qualifications
Key Requirements
You will be an experienced Compensation and Benefits professional with a strong background in reward processes, market benchmarking, pay equity and compliance within a large, global organization.
You will bring:
- 5-7+ years’ experience in compensation and benefits, total reward, reward analysis, or a similar specialist role
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, HR, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits processes, including merit, bonus, benchmarking, promotions, allowances and position evaluation
- Experience using compensation survey data sources and benchmarking methodologies
- Strong understanding of U.S. federal labor laws and compensation-related regulations, including FLSA, Equal Pay Act, Title VII, ADA, ADEA and FMLA
- Familiarity with state-specific compensation laws across the US and Canadian Provinces and Territories
- Experience supporting pay equity reviews, internal governance and external legal compliance
- Ability to interpret benchmarking data and apply it within a compliant compensation framework
- Confidence working with legal and compliance teams on reward and compensation matters
- Highly advanced Excel skills and experience using HR systems, ideally SuccessFactors and SAP
- Strong analytical, financial and quantitative assessment skills
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- High attention to detail, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to advise regional leaders and collaborate globally
