Job Description

Indian Health Service is Seeking a full-time, Board Eligible or Board Certified Otolaryngologist to provide care in an inpatient and outpatient setting.

  • Experience in a broad range of general otolaryngology is required.
  • Responsibilities include diagnosing and managing diseases of the ears, nose, sinuses, larynx, mouth and throat, and structures of the neck and face in adults and children.
  • The Phoenix Indian Medical Center is a Joint Commission accredited hospital located near downtown Phoenix.
  • 127-bed hospital provides specialty services to both urban and rural tribal members.
  • Strong team environment with a robust audiology department with 5 full-time dispensing audiologists
  • Surgery block time available
  • The patient population has a preponderance of otologic, autoimmune, and sleep disorders.
  • Typical patient load 20 patients per day.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology or American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
