Position Summary:
We are seeking an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to support the design and development of electronic control and monitoring systems for powered equipment applications. This role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and excellent planning and organizational capabilities.

Preferred Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in the design and manufacture of electronic assemblies
  • Hands-on experience with electronic simulation and testing
  • Background in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry is a plus
  • Equivalent work experience will be considered

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all safety-critical functions in compliance with product specifications and government regulations
  • Identify and interpret critical characteristics and symbols on technical drawings and blueprints
  • Ensure manufacturing standards, product specs, and customer expectations are consistently met
  • Actively support New Product Development (NPD) goals and timelines
  • Participate in electrical schematic design and PCB layout
  • Collaborate directly with customers to ensure product performance meets application needs and deadlines, including occasional travel
  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional teams to transition new designs into full-scale production
  • Ensure designs comply with industry and automotive regulatory standards
  • Develop and maintain testing hardware and software to support both product development and manufacturing
  • Troubleshoot and support existing electronic products and applications
  • Lead and review EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) testing efforts
  • Support prototype development, tooling, fixtures, gauges, and test equipment
  • Assist with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities to ensure product reliability
  • Complete administrative responsibilities such as tool requests, expense reports, and documentation
