Job DescriptionSalary: $17-$18

Basic Function:

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for supporting daily inbound and outbound operations, ensuring accurate handling, inspection, documentation, and system entry of materials in accordance with company procedures and quality requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive and process all incoming deliveries, ensuring accurate verification of shipment contents and documentation.

Prepare, package, and process outbound shipments in accordance with company and customer requirements.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of shipping and receiving areas, including routine trash removal and workspace upkeep.

Inspect incoming units, including taking photos and verifying unit information such as part number (PN), serial number (SN), and condition.

Verify all outgoing shipments for accuracy, including PN, SN, stamps, signatures, dates, warranty stickers, and protective caps.

Identify and report discrepancies, damaged items, shortages, or AMDT units to the Receiving Lead or Supervisor.

Handle units require special attention, including contaminated, fragile, oversized, or disassembled items, following proper procedures.

Enter and update receiving and shipping data in Aeroxchange and applicable systems (including Lufthansa, AJ Walter, and Allegiant portals).

Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for all shipments prior to release.

Support traceability by maintaining accurate records of all inbound and outbound transactions.

Coordinate with internal departments as needed to ensure timely processing of shipments and receipts.

Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts and audits as required.

Report supply shortages (boxes, foam, plugs, packaging materials) to the Supervisor.

Follow all company procedures, quality standards, and applicable aviation regulations.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor or management.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Maintain accuracy in receiving inspections, shipping verification, and data entry.

Meet daily receiving inspections, shipping verification, and data entry.

Ensure timely and accurate system updates and documentation.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous experience and basic understanding in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred

Proficiency with inventory or warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a regulated and quality-driven environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform essential job functions in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a shipping/receiving environment.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Ability to communicate clearly in person and by telephone.

Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as business needs require.
