Position Summary & Key Responsibilities
As Emerging Threats Portfolio Manager, you'll build and lead a portfolio of work related to national security, defense, cybersecurity, and CBRNE at the Federal and SLTT levels. To be successful in this role, you'll need to excel in four key areas:
- Client Delivery: Empower your team to achieve impactful outcomes across your portfolio balancing strong margins and healthy workloads
- Business Development: Lead contract growth on existing work; collaborate with the BD team to win work in new areas by expanding your pipeline, cultivating client and partner relationships, and managing opportunities in capture
- Subject-Matter Expertise: Represent CONSTANT as a national leader in your portfolio; build team expertise and capabilities aligned with client needs
- Leadership and Culture: Build and lead teams that achieve excellence in a collaborative and supportive environment
This position is hybrid; most work is performed remotely but with periodic commuting to CONSTANT's headquarters in Alexandria, VA or client sites around the National Capital Region. Outside of commuting, travel is approximately 10%.

Must-Have Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in fields related to emerging threats, such as national security, defense, cybersecurity, and CBRNE
- Demonstrated success leading client delivery outcomes across complex programs in a consulting environment, including scope, budget, schedule, staffing, and risk management
- Experience supporting business development, including pipeline management and capture operations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in MS 365 suite
- Must reside in: AL, CA, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, MD, MI, MO, NC, NJ, NM, NY, OH, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA
- Ability to receive a Top Secret security clearance.
Nice-To-Have Qualifications
- Prior management of a portfolio of projects with DHS and/or DoD/DoW related to CONSTANT's mission, capabilities, and targets
- Capture experience in Federal contracting, especially shaping opportunities before release
- Demonstrated success expanding work into new agencies, geographical regions, or service lines
- Proficiency with ERM and CRM tools
