Assistant to Operations Analyst position for a manufacturing and Upfit company bridges the gap between administrative office tasks and the physical production floor. This role ensures that orders move smoothly from the initial quote to the final vehicle or part delivery
Key Responsibilities
- Production Scheduling: Issuing Job "travelers" to the shop floor based on the established production schedule and tracking their progress.
- Inventory & Material Coordination: Assisting with material readiness, participating in cycle counts, and updating the master parts list or Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Reporting & Data Entry: Collecting operational data to report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintaining organized digital and physical files.
Requirements
- Experience:1-3 years in an administrative or operations support role, ideally within a manufacturing or logistics environment
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel is critical) as well as Google Suites. Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems is a bonus!
- Physical Demands: Ability to navigate a production environment, which may include occasional lifting (up to 40-50 lbs.) and standing for periods during inventory audits.
