Compensation:
$62,000 - $67,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Drafting & Design:
- Gather site data and create accurate as-built site drawings
- 2D and 3D drafting in VectorWorks; grading plans, spot elevations, layer management
- Produce photo-realistic renders using SketchUp or similar tools
- Generate construction details, hand sketches, and takeoffs for estimating
- Update drawings due to change orders and prepare drawing packages for construction
Design Knowledge:
- Apply landscape design principles under guidance of senior designers
- Critique and review designs, suggest improvements
Communication:
- Liaise with architects, engineers, building departments, and other agencies
Qualifications:
- 2yr or 4yr degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design or similar
- Proficient in VectorWorks (preferred) and/or AutoCAD (2–5 years experience)
- Comfortable with SketchUp or other 3D modeling program (2–5 years experience)
- Microsoft Office proficiency; Mac familiarity is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative, solution-oriented, and a team player
- Highly attuned to detail and possess excellent teamwork and organizational skills
- Excited to wear multiple hats in a fast-paced environment
