Title: Clinic Operations Manager
Base Salary Range:$70,000 - $80,000/year
Position Status:Full-Time-Equivalent - Exempt
Summary: The Clinic Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring support staff is following policies and procedures while delivering high quality care, manages in-reach and outreach campaigns to increase patient demand, support the short and long-term growth strategies of the health center.The ideal candidate will perform the following essential duties.
· Executes patient growth for meeting clinic goals.
· Responsible for establishing protocols around patient scheduling
· General knowledge of insurance programs such as Medi-Cal, Medicare, Covered California and other programs
· Understanding clinic sliding fee schedule for uninsured patients and follows clinic protocols
· Builds cohesive and collaborative relationships with providers and support staff.
· Identify areas for improvement and provides solution-focused feedback
· Responsible for patient satisfaction surveysannually
· Overseeing front office compliance to ensure clinic remains in good standing with regulatory agencies.
· Responsible for clinic audits, private and governmental agency inquiries into clinic functions and provides responses to audit findings in a timely manner
· Manages and directs front office
Experience and Qualification:
· At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in healthcare delivery systems, nonprofit community clinic preferred
· Experience working in heavily regulated health care environment, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) experience preferred.
· Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR), eClinical Works preferred
· California Certified Enroller preferred or willing to become certified within 90 days of hire
· Above average English oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with patients,and external stakeholders.
Education and Experience Knowledge:
· A degree in public administration, public health, business administration, health care administration and other related health care field helpful.
· Other language skills desirable: Chinese, Spanish.
