About the Role

The Programmatic Media Director will be responsible for executing, managing, and optimizing programmatic campaigns across various DSPs to maximize performance and ROI. This individual will play a key role in shaping Bluewater’s programmatic strategy while also mentoring junior team members, collaborating cross-functionally, and driving innovation in our media buying approach.

What You’ll Do

  • Campaign Execution & Optimization – Plan, launch, and manage programmatic campaigns across display, video, OTT/CTV, audio, and native channels.

  • Strategy Development – Identify opportunities to improve performance and scale campaigns efficiently.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making – Analyze campaign data, generate insights, and optimize bidding strategies to maximize efficiency.

  • Platform & Tech Expertise – Leverage multiple DSPs, including The Trade Desk, DV360, Xandr, and others, to execute campaigns.

  • Collaboration & Leadership – Work closely with internal teams (creative, analytics, and client services) to ensure campaign success.

  • Mentorship & Training – Help guide junior team members, providing insights and expertise to develop their skills.

  • Testing & Innovation – Explore new programmatic opportunities, emerging platforms, and audience targeting strategies.

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years of hands-on programmatic buying experience.

  • Experience managing campaigns in The Trade Desk, DV360, or other major DSPs.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Knowledge of audience segmentation, real-time bidding, and data-driven optimization.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

  • A desire for leadership growth, mentoring and influencing team strategy.

  • Experience in CTV, direct response, and full-funnel programmatic buying is a plus.
