Zero Trust Architect

MUST:
Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility (REQUIRED)
Zero Trust Architect – Data
12+ years of professional cybersecurity experience
5+ years of experience in Zero Trust Architecture, enterprise security design, and systems integration
Expertise in Zero Trust Architecture (NIST SP 800-207, DoD ZT Strategy, CISA ZT Maturity Model)
Cloud security experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) in hybrid and multi-cloud environments
Experience with ICAM, micro-segmentation, encryption, continuous monitoring, and software-defined perimeters
DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level III Certification (CISSP, CASP+ CE, CCSP or equivalent required)
DUTIES:
Serve as senior technical authority supporting the CIO's Zero Trust Program
Develop Zero Trust reference architectures, system designs, and data flow models across all ZT pillars
Conduct enterprise maturity assessments, gap analyses, and remediation strategies
Integrate ZT capabilities across cloud, hybrid, enterprise networks, and DevSecOps pipelines
Ensure compliance with RMF (NIST SP 800-37, 800-53), DoD, IC, and federal cybersecurity mandates
Support governance framework development aligned to Zero Trust objectives
Provide executive-level briefings, technical documentation, and strategic roadmaps
Act as primary technical liaison between leadership, engineers, acquisition teams, and mission stakeholders
