Two Travel Pharmacist opportunities are available in Templeton, CA, offering dynamic roles to support patient care within an inpatient setting. These positions provide a chance to work with advanced technology systems such as Cerner and Omnicell in a supportive environment that values clinical expertise and professional growth.
Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians and nurses, and applying knowledge in pharmacokinetics to optimize patient outcomes. These critical functions ensure high-quality pharmaceutical services that directly contribute to patient safety and care coordination.
Schedules:
- Pharmacist 1: Day shift, 4 ten-hour days per week (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
- Pharmacist 2: Night shift, 7 days on/7 days off (9:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
Ideal candidates will possess:
- An active California pharmacist license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with Cerner and Omnicell systems is preferred
