Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support student communication development in a school setting located in Oakland, CA. This contract position involves working closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to implement individualized therapy plans and support students with speech, language, and communication challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Implement and document therapy activities according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the supervising clinician
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate communication strategies into the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of student information

  • Understanding of speech and language development and intervention strategies
