At REAL ALLOY’s Sapulpa, OK facility, we’re adding an entry-level Melt Shop Production Technician to keep our furnace operations running safely and smoothly. This is a great starting point in heavy industry—earn $22.00/hour while you learn advanced processes in aluminum recycling and alloy production.
A day in the life
You’ll arrive ready to work with a crew that puts safety first, supporting furnace operations throughout your shift. You’ll move materials with mobile equipment, keep the area organized, and make sure production quality stays on target. Every task helps the team hit throughput and quality goals.
Schedule
- Rotating 12-hour shifts: 7am–7pm and 7pm–7am
- 4 on / 4 off rotation — work half the days in a year
What you’ll do
- Champion safe work practices and follow all procedures
- Contribute to furnace operations as directed by your lead
- Operate mobile equipment to move, lift, and position materials
- Handle tasks such as lifting, moving, weighing, shoveling, skimming, sweeping, and cleaning plant equipment and property
- Help maintain consistent product quality and production standards
What you bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with forklifts and loaders is helpful; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to perform regular physical work (walking, lifting, shoveling, and general clean-up)
- Self-starter who can stay productive with minimal supervision
Preferred proficiency
- Forklift Licensed
- Meets Physical Requirements
Compensation and benefits
- $22.00/hour
