Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Providing skilled nursing care in a fast-paced med-surg telemetry environment, this role offers the opportunity to utilize your expertise in patient monitoring and care management. The position involves caring for a diverse patient population, including vascular and bariatric cases, with moderate acuity levels. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in telemetry and hold current ACLS and BLS certifications to meet the essential care standards of the unit.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current RN license with valid BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring essential
  • Preferred skills in bariatric and cardiac patient care
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced setting
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to patient safety

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring patients using advanced equipment such as Alaris pumps, bladder scanners, and Atrium chest tube drainage systems
  • Managing patient care ratios of approximately 1:4-5 during day shifts and 1:5 during night shifts
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Utilizing Sunrise EMR for accurate documentation and communication
  • Following unit protocols and policies, including weekend rotations every other week

Schedule:

  • Day and night shifts available with every other weekend on rotation
