A quick look at the role
Reporting into the Procurement Excellence Manager, the Procurement Systems Manager and will be responsible for the integrity and visibility of spend data and reporting analytics into the Procurement Function. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining, identifying and implementing procurement technologies on the market to drive process improvements and automation for the function.

Your core responsibilities
- Manage the integrity of the Procurement Spend Cube, including cleansing of data with the Category Management Team, suppliers and wider business for accurate reporting.
- Manage and maintain the supplier database and onboarding processes within D365.
- Developing product items, punch out catalogues and continuous improvement opportunities in relation to the procurement function within D365.
- Responsible for setting data standards and SOPs to improve integrity of product items/catalogues within D365.
- Maintain and promote usage of other Procurement systems, including e-RFX (and e-Auctions) and contract management systems.
- Provide training and support to the procurement function on procurement systems to ensure they have the skillset and fully utilise the procurement systems.
- Regularly review the procurement roadmap to identifying opportunities for innovation and digital transformation which can benefit Biffa and the procurement function.
- Support the Procurement Excellence Manager in formulating strategies in relation to communications on Procurement Policies and Governance to the business.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and across the procurement team to positively impact business performance.
- Identifying continuous and process improvement opportunities within procurement data and systems, aligned with Biffa Governance and Procurement Policies.

Our essential requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (formerly known as Dynamics AX), or other similar ERP systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Experience of managing complex data sets and developing spend analytics/ reporting tools for the procurement function.
- Knowledge of the full end to end procurement process from cradle to grave
- Experience of managing other procurement systems such as ERFX, Contract Databases
- Experience in data migration, cleaning, system integration, and UAT testing is desirable.
