In the role of a Registered Nurse focused on pre-procedure care, you will deliver thorough patient support, collaborate with various departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. A valid nursing license and relevant certifications, including BLS and ACLS, are essential. This position demands physical endurance for activities such as lifting and standing for extended periods during shifts.

Utilizing the nursing process, you will provide exceptional patient care while maintaining professional accountability for the care of assigned patients. You will assess the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers and coordinate patient care alongside other departments. Position Details:Qualifications:
- Education: Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment or compact licensure, meeting all state board requirements.
- Experience: Relevant experience in nursing is preferred.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
- Additional certifications may be required based on the specific unit or position, including but not limited to:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurse)
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support)
- C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
- Other unit-specific certifications as necessary
Physical Requirements:
- The role necessitates the ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged standing and walking are required throughout each shift.
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat is essential for performing job duties.
