Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position is for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) providing services within the community for preschool-aged children (ages 3-5) with speech and language impairments. The role supports various preschools and daycare settings in Reading, PA, serving students under a K-12 school program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
- Utilize efficient assessment and intervention techniques tailored to young childrens needs.
- Manage paperwork and documentation on Fridays.
- Collaborate with families and early childhood educators to support student progress.
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification and SLP certificate of clinical competence (CCC).
- Experience working with preschool-aged children (3-5 years) with speech and language impairments.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
Contract Details:
- Contract duration:
- Position 1: Immediate start through June 2026.
- Position 2: January 2026 through June 2026.
- Location: Reading, PA (Berks County region).
- Full-time schedule, MondayFriday with specific days dedicated to direct service and paperwork.
