Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
Join our team in the Cash Counting Department where you will engage in electro-mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment. This role involves reading and following drawings and work instructions to perform various assembly functions, including packing and the use of pallet jacks. The position requires repetitive lifting of up to 25-40 lbs and the utilization of various hand, electric, and air tools to assemble parts and machines as per prints and instructions.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of coin machines and assemblies.
- Handle materials using pallet jacks and perform packing duties as needed.
- Use hand tools and power tools for assembly.
- Interpret prints and read directions accurately.
- Maintain a positive attitude and enthusiasm for the work.
- Lift up to 45-50 lbs to shoulder height.
- Document work in light documentation tasks and perform basic English and math operations.
- Mimic assembly processes after initial instruction.
Essential Skills
- 1-2 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience.
- Experience with hand, power, and air tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience in packing.
- Capability to stand for 8+ hours a day.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Ability to lift 45-50 lbs regularly.

Work Environment
The work environment is very clean and inviting. The company manufactures self-service coin processors and ATM machines for banks, stores, and casinos. The position is for the 1st shift, from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime of 5-10 hours when necessary. The role requires standing on feet for extended periods and involves lifting up to 40 lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Prospect, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
