Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support students' behavioral development in a K-6 educational setting within a dedicated autistic support program. This contract role offers the opportunity to apply your Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) expertise directly to classroom environments that serve five specialized autistic support classrooms.
Location:
- Situated in Lancaster, PA, within a well-established K-12 school district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized behavior intervention strategies tailored to students with autism.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to design and implement effective behavior support plans.
- Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to adapt interventions as needed.
- Provide training and guidance to classroom staff on behavior management techniques.
- Maintain clear documentation and communication regarding student progress and behavioral observations.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
- Proven autism experience within school settings.
- Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles relevant to educational environments.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to work alongside multidisciplinary teams.
Schedule and Duration:
- Contract position covering the 25/26 academic school year.
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM.
