Deliver skilled nursing care in a dynamic medical-surgical unit serving diverse adult patients. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible or current in Missouri
- Minimum one year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA preferred
- Ability to float to other units as staffing needs arise
- Strong team-oriented mindset with dedication to patient-centered care

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional nursing standards in accordance with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and facility policies.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EPIC) and specialized medical equipment to support patient treatment.
- Adhere to infection control practices, including compliance with flu vaccination policies during specified periods.
Additional Details:
- 13-week contract assignment with weekend rotation every other weekend and no call responsibilities
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- Patient-to-nurse ratios vary; emphasis on safe, quality care
- Dress code requires black scrubs and closed-toe shoes
- Exposure to physical demands including lifting assistance and extended periods of standing
