Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve an elementary school caseload for the remainder of the school year. This role involves working itinerantly across 2-3 school sites, providing vital speech and language support to young learners in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in elementary-aged students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Manage caseload effectively across multiple school locations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports in compliance with district and legal standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification and licensure appropriate for working in Tennessee schools.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting.
- Ability to adapt to traveling between multiple school sites.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to student-centered care and teamwork.
Location:This position requires travel among 2 to 3 schools within the McKenzie, TN area, providing diverse experiences in varying educational environments.
