Job Title: Research Support Assistant III

Grade: 12

Salary: $48,425 - $57,870

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc., is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the full-time position of Research Support Assistant, Level III. The successful candidate will contribute to the coordination of eating disorders and research studies, have basic computer skills including MS Word, Wordperfect, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Full time effort will be 100%.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Research Support Assistant serves as a technician for the Eating Disorders Research Unit in the department of psychiatry. It is responsible for the primary operational support for studies, organizing research procedures, assisting in the collection of study related specimens, management of data, and other administrative duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, physics, psychology or related science or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • At least (2) years of experience in research setting and the ability to organize a large number of time-dependent tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in eating disorders research preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish
