Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in Nashville, TN, providing an opportunity to support diverse learners in a dedicated school environment. This contract role begins as soon as possible to cover an immediate opening and continues through the 2025-2026 school year, with potential for rehire based on performance.

Responsibilities include delivering specialized instruction to students typically ranging from kindergarten to 6th grade, with class placements varying by room assignment. The student population includes those with behavioral disorders, oppositional defiant disorder, and social-emotional challenges. The position requires a commitment of Monday through Friday, approximately 7.5 hours per day on-site.

Ideal candidates will hold a special education endorsement as an interventionist or comprehensive developmental delay certification. New graduates with relevant credentials are encouraged to apply. This role focuses on service within one school location, with no virtual work options available. Comfort using Microsoft Teams for interview coordination is necessary, with scheduling assistance provided by the Director of Special Education.
