This role will require access to access information controlled under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR, 15 CFR §§ 730-780),and likely the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR, 22 CFR §§ 120-130), and so applicants for this position must be one of a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or other Protected Individual (as defined under 8 USC § 1324b(a)(3)).
JOB SUMMARY
The RF/Microwave Product Marketing Manager 1 is responsible for developing business opportunities and supporting the successful roll-out of products in a defined product category. The responsibilities include product planning, product definition, product positioning, Go-to-Market support, competitive analysis, and working closely with the product management and MARCOM teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive business development activities supporting the direct sales team in the development of key accounts and regional growth through channel partners.
- Work closely with customers and the sales & engineering organizations on custom/new product opportunities to manage expectations resulting in the optimal solution for all parties.
- Actively manage the product portfolio
- Collaborating with the various Marki organizations in product definition and product readiness
- Support product pricing as part of the product portfolio.
- Work closely with product management on product lifecycle management.
- Support the creation of Go-to-Market materials for new products.
- Internal materials: Product sell sheets
- External materials: Product overview slides, roadmaps, success stories, competitive analysis etc.
- Development of product training and education materials
- Interface with the marketing communications team to provide product information for use in promotional materials and to support the website and other lead generation tools.
REQUIREMENTS
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or similar technical field. Candidates without a technical degree will not be considered.
- Familiarity with the RF/Microwave market segment
- 3 years of prior RF/Microwave industry experience
- Ability to travel when required.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Must understand RF/Microwave theory including but not limited to S-parameters, Noise Figure/Temperature, Conversion Loss, Power Compression, Harmonic Generation, Intermodulation Distortion, and Spur Generation.
- Self-motivated and driven, takes initiative and works well independently and cross-functionally.
- 3 years of prior RF/Microwave industry experience
- Excellent communication skills, verbal, and writing
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Effective planning, time management, and prioritization skills
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent presentation skills
