Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Plant Operators for projects located in and around Indianapolis, IN. This is a second shift opportunity with a pay range of $36-42/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

  • Operates and monitors the Building Automation System (BAS) for all facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
  • Assigns work orders to maintenance personnel based on priority and operational needs
  • Performs regular preventative maintenance, including water and equipment testing
  • Assists in repair and replacement tasks for building equipment and infrastructure
  • Ensures adherence to Building Authority policies, safety procedures, and operational processes


Responsibilities

  • Previous experience and working knowledge of essential duties and listed equipment/tools

  • Self-motivated, capable of independent work without supervision

  • Team-oriented, able to collaborate with co-workers, vendors, contractors, and clients

  • Flexible work availability, including possible evenings or weekends

  • Valid Indiana driver’s license

  • Must be able to pass a background check
