Copperfield Animal Clinic is seeking a dedicated Receptionist/Kennel Tech to join our team!

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Receptionist Duties:

• Warmly welcome patients and pet owners.
• Efficiently handle in-bound phone calls and set up appointments.
• Call Out-bound to existing customers to set up appointments
• Offer feedback on ways to increase appointments booked per day.

Kennel Technician Duties (as required):

• Care for animals boarded at the hospital: feeding, medication administration, etc.
• Thoroughly clean patient rooms post-exam.

SALARY: $13 to $17+ per hour starting (Depending on experience)

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Ability to multi-task meanwhile maintaining a positive & proactive attitude
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when obstacles arise
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with Google applications is preferable.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience working at a veterinary clinic is required.
• Experience working as a receptionist is required.
• Experience using a multi-line phone system such as AT&T Office@Hand is preferred.
• Knowledge of Avimark is preferred.

SCHEDULE:

• 8 hours shift Monday-Friday (With 1-hour lunch break and paid 15-min break)
• 5 hours shift Saturday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
