Job Title: Offshore HSE Supervisor
Location: Offshore (Rotational Assignment)
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Offshore HSE Supervisor to join our team. This role involves working on top-notch, state-of-the-art vessels with a tremendously progressive opportunity. The ideal candidate must have a valid passport and be willing to work on a rotational assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Visit vessels during port calls, mobilizations, and demobilizations in the Gulf of Mexico, Trinidad, and Guyana.
- Provide internal training on management systems, risk assessment, and permit to work procedures.
- Ensure annual control and re-certification of safety equipment.
- Conduct permit to work audits during onboard visits.
- Report vessel visit findings and provide course certificates after training sessions.
- Review safety observation cards, job safety analyses, and toolbox talks.
- Inspect working at height and fall rescue equipment.
- Manage personal protective equipment inventory.
- Focus on lifting operations and dropped object prevention.
- Promote safety reporting and liaise with contractor HSE personnel.
- Participate in or lead incident investigations and execute walkabouts/inspections.
- Ensure all HSE requirements are effectively implemented on board the vessel.
- Support the HSEQ onshore department as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be US Citizen / US Perm Resident
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience on offshore support or construction vessels.
- Training in working and rescue at height according to ANSI Z359.2.
- Competent in fall prevention equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work strategically, analytically, and solution-oriented.
- Demonstrates integrity and open, honest communication.
- Focus on improving routines and solutions.
Working Conditions:
- Offshore rotational assignment.
