Position Overview

We are seeking a Pre-School / Pre-K Teacher who is energetic, dependable, and passionate about early childhood education. The ideal candidate understands how to balance structured academic instruction with play-based learning and social-emotional development.

This role requires strong classroom leadership, organization, and the ability to maintain a warm, engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards

• Prepare children for kindergarten readiness milestones

• Maintain consistent classroom management and routines

• Conduct ongoing child assessments and developmental observations

• Maintain compliance with Minnesota DHS licensing standards

• Build strong, professional relationships with parents

• Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and organization

• Collaborate with leadership and support staff

Qualifications

• Must meet Minnesota DHS Teacher qualifications

• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)

• Previous Pre-K or preschool classroom experience strongly preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to manage a classroom with confidence and positivity

• CPR/First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain)
