Job Details:
\n
• Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the operating room environment
\n• Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care for patients whose protective reflexes or self-care abilities are potentially compromised during operative or invasive procedures
\n• Individualize patient care according to patient's health status, age level, and surgery/procedure being performed
\n• Maintain ongoing evaluation and documentation of all components of care delivered using the nursing process
\n• Apply clinical knowledge, judgment, and clinical-reasoning skills based on scientific principles
\n• Address physical, psychological, and spiritual responses of patients having operative or invasive procedures
\n• Minimum 1 year experience in acute operating room environment required
\n• At least 6 months level 1 trauma experience required
\n• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures required
\n• Excellent understanding of AORN Standards required
\n• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
\n• Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required
\n• Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required
\n• CNOR certification preferred
\n• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
