RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION ONSITE SUPERVISOR

Starting at $80,000+ Based on experience

Premier Custom Builders, based in Chagrin Falls, OH, is a full-service design and build firm specializing in delivering
seamless construction for clients, vendors, and trade. Premier Custom Builders has relied on the old-fashioned beliefs of

construction and renovations in Northeast Ohio.
We are seeking a Job supervisor that embodies the hard work, honesty, and high-quality service principles that drive the
team at Premier Custom Builders. This person will work Monday through Friday, normal business hours, in and around
the Greater Cleveland area.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
● Manage construction of multiple renovations and new builds from demolition through closing.
● Handle client communications during construction including emails, phone calls, and on-site meetings.
● Strive to continually promote a high level of excellence and quality.
● Schedule all involved contractors for each phase of construction.
● Approve work being performed by subcontractors and handle any issues that may arise.
● Assist in resolving issues related to daily construction activities such as vendor contracts, work orders, job
progress, etc.
● Confirm all approved plans to verify the home site is built per plan and specifications. Ensure the selected
options are implemented during construction.
● Maintain a safe work site by enforcing safe work habits and observing OSHA regulations.
● Be aware of applicable building codes.
● Monitor jobsite cleanliness and hold the subcontractors responsible for daily clean-up.
● Conduct detailed inspections after each trade has completed its tasks.
● Establish and maintain contact with appropriate city officials and inspectors as needed.
● Manage project close-out.
WHAT YOU NEED:
● 4+ years of construction management experience.
● Knowledge of municipal permitting and regulations, construction management, construction related software
and building codes.
● Ability to read blueprints, write and communicate effectively, make correct decisions, and delegate work
effectively.
● Knowledge of various trades, such as framing, electrical, mechanical, finishing, etc.
● Keen focus on customer satisfaction.
● Superior time management skills.
● Strong organization and planning skills.
● Strong communication and negotiation skills.
● Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge.
