Reports to: Chief Nursing Officer
Hours: Weekday, dayshift hours. 40 hours per week.
Status: Exempt
Qualifications:
• Illinois RN license in good standing. Required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing. Required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Preferred.
• BLS & ACLS. Required.
• Required minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience
• Preferred 2 years in a leadership or quality improvement role
• Preferred Certification in Nursing Informatics or Professional Healthcare Quality.
• Strong knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, and state regulatory standards.
• Vaccinations required per IDPH, CDC, and CMS.

Performance Responsibilities:
• Develops, implements, reviews, and sustains policies, procedures, patient/employee safety,
budgetary operations, staff development, productivity, and program development/growth,
including program certification, under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer
• 100% On-Site work
• Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, systems, and objectives.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Maintains a professional and calm demeanor.
• High level of organization.
• Prioritize and perform critical thinking.
• Follows and supports MH’s Mission, Vision, and Service Excellence.
• Must be able to use:
o Electronic Health Record
o Scheduling, payroll, and time keeping system.
o Hospital information systems
o Microsoft Office
o Policy Management system
o Patient Care Equipment
o Reporting systems like Cerner, Lighthouse, DA2, Lights On, Business Objects, and more.
• Other duties as assigned
