Support students' educational and personal needs in a K-12 school setting as a Paraprofessional or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) under a contract for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position offers a structured schedule aligned with the academic calendar, providing vital assistance throughout the school day.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct support to students across grades K-12, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with classroom activities, personalized learning plans, and behavioral support.
• Provide caregiving and health-related assistance as needed, especially for students requiring Certified Nurse Assistant skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, nurses, and other staff to meet individual student needs effectively.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress to relevant personnel.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two professional references demonstrating reliability and aptitude for student support roles.
• Relevant experience or certification as a Paraprofessional or CNA preferred but not mandatory.
• Commitment to supporting diverse student populations with patience and empathy.

Location:

• Position is located in Wilkes Barre, PA, serving students within the local school district.
• Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:40 PM, totaling 35 hours per week during the school year.
