Tri-County Orthopedics has an opportunity for a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) with experience in all aspects of E/M coding for a diversified medical practice with a focus on orthopedics. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills and be detailed oriented. Auditing experience is a plus.

Candidates should have a strong grasp of medical terminology, anatomy, as well as ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes and their proper applications. Good communication skills and significant understanding of insurance requirements is a must. Applicants must be adept at handling changing insurance and coding requirements, and good interpersonal skills are a plus. Candidates are required to assist with department and practice education, as well as supporting the collections dept. with the development of appeals and corresponding directly with providers.

Experience is preferred but will consider candidates who demonstrate exemplary skills in the above areas. Proof of current certification is required.

This position is on site (in-person) and you will be required to report to our Jefferson Lake Hopatcong office location.
