Position Details
- Schedule: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
- Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend day per month (if available)
- Employment Type: PRN (must be available at least 3 days per month, including 1 weekend day)
- Pay Rate: $33$39/hour (based on license & experience)
- Location: Tampa & surrounding areas
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments
- Manage and maintain home respiratory equipment (ventilators, oxygen, nebulizers, etc.)
- Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory care and safety
- Monitor patient progress, document accurately, and update treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and emergency personnel
- Deliver compassionate, professional careeven in urgent situations
Requirements
- Active Florida RRT license, or CRT with 10+ years of experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory care experience (acute care preferred)
- Current TB test and physical (within the past 12 months)
- Must pass ACHA Level 2 background screening
