Location: Minnesota

Compensation: $60,000.00 $80,000.00

The Petra Automotive Products Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling high-quality aftermarket chemical products to automotive service departments and independent repair facilities. This role blends relationship-based sales, account management, and hands-on product support to ensure long-term customer success.

You will own and grow a defined territory, build strong partnerships with service advisors and technicians, and serve as a trusted resource for product education, training, and implementation.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and manage relationships with automotive dealerships and independent repair facilities within an assigned territory
  • Sell and promote Petra aftermarket chemical products to service departments and shop owners
  • Service existing accounts through regular visits, product restocking, and performance reviews
  • Identify growth opportunities within current accounts and convert new prospects into long-term customers
  • Schedule and lead product training sessions for service advisors and technicians
  • Demonstrate proper product usage, benefits, and value to drive adoption and repeat sales
  • Maintain accurate account records, sales activity, and territory planning
  • Collaborate with leadership to align territory strategy with company growth objectives

Qualifications

  • Sales experience in automotive, industrial, or B2B environments preferred
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Comfortable conducting in-person training and product demonstrations
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a territory independently
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
