Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist skilled in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including structural cases. This contract position is based in South Charleston, WV, offering a dynamic hospital setting with advanced cardiac care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist with 8-10 cardiac catheterization cases daily, ensuring proficiency in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures.
- Maintain readiness for on-call duties with a 30-minute response time during assigned weekends.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care in a Level IV Trauma Center environment.
- Document procedures accurately utilizing Cerner electronic charting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience; first-time technologists are not eligible.
- Competence in all Cath Lab Diagnostic and Interventional procedures, including structural interventions.
- ARRT registration required.
- Active WV state license must be obtained prior to assignment start; candidates with a pending license may apply.
- Ability to respond promptly to weekend on-call responsibilities.
- Flexibility to float within the cath lab scope as needed; floating to sister facilities is not required.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour day shifts, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Weekend on-call coverage starting Friday 7 p.m. through Monday 7 a.m., rotating AM and PM shifts.
