PACE’s non-public school is seeking an energetic Speech Language Pathologist-CFY for an exciting full-time position. By choosing to join our team, you will have the opportunity to:

Essential Functions Include:
You will be mentored under the supervision of a licensed SLP:
- Conduct screening and testing of students to determine goals
- Assist in preparing assessment reports
- Assisting with the development of the students’ Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Consult with teachers on follow-through activities for students within their caseload
- Observe and work directly with students either on an individual or group basis towards their communication goals
- Develop curriculum for student based on assessment of communication goals
- Assist with modifying the students’ program based on periodic evaluation to help curve behaviors and promote communication goals
- Maintain students’ speech records
Desired Skills and Experience
- Must have Master's Degree;
- Must have appropriate California License
- At least 1 year experience with autism and other developmental disabilities preferred
- Must be able to understand the principles and techniques of language, speech and hearing services with emphasis on Moderate to Severe DD populations
- Knowledge of AAC and/or visual structure is highly preferred
- Must be able to work in a dynamic environment which requires thinking on your feet
- Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment
