Job DescriptionFront Dest Receptionist Pay Rate: $16 - $18 per hourLocation: Palmetto, Ga 30268Hours: 7am- 3pm Monday - FridayAs a receptionist, you will be the face and voice of the company, responsible for maintaining a positive attitude while greeting all visitors and job applicants. You will manage the reception area, phone system, and direct visitors as the first point of contact for the organization. In addition to these duties, you will assist the HR supervisor and require strong clerical skills. If you are a self-motivated individual who can successfully complete tasks with minimal supervision, we would love to have you on our team.Responsibilities:
- Answers telephone and routes calls promptly; does not leave callers on “hold” and unattended for longer than 20 seconds.
- Responsible for reporting any issues with the telephone system, updating the phone listing as needed, completing filing, operating the copy machine, and typing memos and other correspondence for staff
- Coordinates interviews and pre-employment paperwork
- Sorts and distributes incoming mail.
- Maintains ID badge system; takes pictures, prints badges, etc.
- Completes other tasks as assigned
List Qualification or Requirements:
- A year experience in switchboard and/or telephone experience.
- HS Diploma minimum. Business related post high school training is a plus. Previous HR experience (preferred)
- Telephone skills required, courteous, good organizational skills, effective computer skills required, good math skills a must, pleasant reception of visitors required.
