Title: CT/X-Ray Technologist
Location: Berlin, VT
Duration: 16 weeks
Shift: Day Shift, 3x12-Hour
- Saturday/Sunday: 09:00 – 21:30
- Monday: 10:30 – 23:00
Schedule may rotate slightly; no block scheduling available.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in various clinical settings including acute care, outpatient, ER, OR, and bedside.
- Utilize advanced imaging equipment including GE, Philips, Toshiba, and PACS systems.
- Conduct a wide range of imaging studies, including:
- Abdominal Imaging: KUB, upright, and decubitus views
- Fluoroscopy Procedures: Barium swallow, upper GI series (preferred)
- Spine & Extremities: Cervical, lumbar, thoracic spine, pelvis, upper/lower extremities
- Chest and Head Imaging: Routine chest, skull, orbits
- Perform portable and mobile imaging, including OR C-arm procedures.
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a teaching hospital environment.
- Must be willing to float between units as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
- Active Vermont radiologic technologist license
- Minimum 2 years of recent CT/X-ray experience
- EPIC charting system experience within the past 2 years (required)
- Previous experience in a teaching hospital
- Strong clinical competency in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Ability to work weekends and at least 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day)
