Role Overview
This is a specialized Talent Acquisition role focused on supporting immigration and sponsorship (PERM) recruitment process for current employees.
- Not a full-cycle recruiting role — no candidate sourcing or direct applicant engagement.
- The work is primarily resume evaluation, documentation, and coordination with legal and hiring managers.
- Highly process-driven, compliance-heavy, and detail-oriented work where accuracy and adherence to timelines are critical.
- The individual must be able to learn quickly, follow structured procedures, and work independently in a remote setup.
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Review all incoming resumes daily for assigned requisitions (4–10 open at any given time).
- Ensure zero backlog – all resumes submitted that day must be reviewed the same day.
- Evaluate candidates against 6–14 role-specific criteria using a Resume Review Excel Tracker (yes/no format).
- Complete weekly reporting for legal — metrics include # of resumes reviewed, interviews scheduled, and outstanding items.
- Schedule interviews between hiring managers and qualified internal candidates.
- Participate in kick-off calls with hiring managers and legal teams.
- Maintain full compliance with audit-ready documentation at all times.
- Act as a consultant to hiring managers on process-related queries and timelines.
- Uphold professionalism in all stakeholder interactions (video presence expected on calls).
🧠 Skills & Attributes Required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy — critical for audit readiness.
- Analytical mindset — able to quickly review and assess resumes (50–100+ daily).
- Time management & organization — must manage multiple moving parts with tight SLAs.
- Tech-savvy & proficient with Excel (filtering, data entry, tracking).
- Critical thinking — able to interpret complex, technical resumes (scientists, statisticians, engineers).
- Excellent communication — especially written; must interact confidently with managers, legal, and peers.
- Fast learner — capable of absorbing a week-long training and applying it consistently.
- Collaborative team player — willing to engage in team discussions, share learnings, and follow common standards.
🎓 Experience & Background
- Preferred: 2–5 years of Talent Acquisition, HR Coordinator, or Recruitment Operations experience.
- Candidates with TA Coordinator experience often transition well into this role.
- Backgrounds in regulated, compliance-heavy environments (pharma, healthcare, government contracting, finance) are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required — capability and learning agility matter more.
- No prior immigration or PERM experience required; provides comprehensive training.
📈 Volume & Pace
- Manages 4–10 requisitions at a time.
- Reviews 50–100+ resumes per day.
- Every requisition stays open for at least 60 days.
- Team goal: Zero-out resume queue daily.
- Environment is fast-paced, structured, and metrics-driven.

- One-week intensive training led by HM herself (130-slide structured program).
- Continued shadowing/mentoring and access to team support.
- Clear processes and templates provided (no ambiguity).
