Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-5 students as an Occupational Therapist in a vibrant elementary school setting near Boston, MA. This contract position spans the academic year from September 3, 2026, through June 23, 2027, with a consistent full-time schedule of 32.5 hours per week. You'll play a key role working with young learners, helping them overcome challenges to succeed inside and outside the classroom. Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to create and adapt interventions for diverse learners in K-5
- Commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ motor and sensory needs
- Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and complete required documentation
- Support classroom adaptations and teacher training as needed
- Promote skills for daily living, fine motor coordination, and sensory processing
