OVERVIEW:
Provides administrative and executive support assistance to the Washington DC office (“WDC”) in the preparation of a wide variety of requests from the global company and managing various internal and external relationships with stakeholders and vendors. Coordinates with outside contacts and serving as the Operations Manager for the office. Assists the WDC office in handling multiple and often complicated inquiries from parties outside the company. Assists as necessary with support activities to ensure the smooth operation of the WDC office in support of the Director. This position reviews and analyzes and executes office policies and procedures.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

Assists Director in managing external relationships with various stakeholders in DC and nationwide.

Activities include but are not limited to office management and executive operations

Incumbent provides a wide variety of diverse and highly skilled support activities to ensure the success of office initiatives

Assists in the preparation of various reports and background briefings.

Processes written and verbal public relations requests

Maintains contacts with various internal and external company contacts

Serves as the initial point of contact with visitors and the general public.

Performs all other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, Economics, Business Administration or closely related field.

Four (4) to Eight (8) years experience in large corporate or international affairs or executive management is preferred. Ideal candidates have experience with foundations, trade associations, Washington DC government or public affairs offices, and/or executive hospitality and office management expertise with a passion for attention to detail and executing initiatives.

Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely at a level required to perform the job as outlined.

Strong skills in writing, office administration and public contact. Must possess good work habits, a strong work ethic, and be able to adhere to company work hours, policies, and standard business etiquette.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $155,000. Final base salary for this role is based on several factors, including the individual’s geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses and/or certifications.
