Location: Tucson, AZ 85745
Contract Duration: 6 weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM | 5 days/week (35 hours/week) | No weekends
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide direct care and support to students in a day program setting. The CNA will assist with personal care, monitor student health and behavior, and support classroom and activity routines to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including feeding, hygiene, and mobility support
- Monitor and report student health, behavior, and changes to supervisors
- Assist with classroom and activity routines as needed
- Follow safety and infection control protocols at all times
- Support students’ emotional and physical needs in a professional and compassionate manner
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Entry-level candidates welcome
- Comfortable working day shift hours
Preferred Skills
- Experience in healthcare or special education settings
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to provide compassionate care to children and adolescents
